Host an Invite-Making Party in Lapeer County

Planning a wedding in Lapeer County should feel exciting, not like you’re panic-printing cardstock at midnight.

If you’re a 2026 or 2027 bride looking for custom wedding invitations in Lapeer County, I created something that feels less stressful and a lot more fun.

Instead of designing your invites alone at your kitchen table…

You host an invite-making party at my studio.

Music on.

Paper stacked.

Wax seals melting.

Your best friends assigned stations like a very organized, very chic assembly line.

Yes, it’s efficient.

But it also feels like a memory.

What Is A Wedding Invite Party?

It’s a fully customized, professionally designed and printed invitation experience — turned into an elevated girls’ night.

Here’s how it works:

Before the party, I design your entire invitation suite digitally. Everything is customized to your wedding aesthetic — fonts, layout, paper tone, spacing, the whole vibe. Then I professionally print everything on high-quality cardstock beforehand.

When you arrive at my Lapeer County studio, everything is:

• Printed

• Organized into labeled baskets

• Set up like a polished little conveyor system

One friend handwrites envelopes.

One handles wax seals and stamps.

One wraps belly bands or vellum strips.

One trims specialty pieces if needed.

You get the energy of DIY while hanging with your besties!

When Should You Host Your Wedding Invite Party?

For most Michigan weddings, invitations should be mailed:

• 8-10 weeks before your wedding

• 10-14 weeks if you have out-of-town guests

That means your invite party should happen at least 10–14 weeks before your wedding date to allow for final design approvals and assembly.

For 2026 and 2027 brides in Lapeer County and surrounding Michigan areas, now is actually the perfect time to get on my calendar!

I book a limited number of invite parties each month to keep everything intentional and organized.

Why Not Just Order Online?

You absolutely can!

But here’s what most brides don’t realize:

Paper weight matters.

Ink tone shifts on different stock.

Margins affect trim.

Foil placement changes everything.

Printers jam.

Colors print differently than they look on screen.

When you host your wedding invitation party with me in Lapeer County, everything is already handled.

You show up.

You assemble.

You laugh.

You leave with finished invitations ready to mail.

No 2am printer meltdowns.
