What is a mini session?

A mini session is a shorter, themed photoshoot that takes place on specific dates. They’re perfect for holiday cards, seasonal updates, or quick family portraits. You’ll get a handful of beautiful images without committing to a full session!

How long are your mini sessions?

Each mini session is typically 15–20 minutes long. Just enough time to get a variety of beautiful shots while keeping it quick and easy—especially for little ones!

What's included in the session fee?

Mini sessions include a set number of edited digital images, access to any props or setups, and an online gallery to view and choose your favorites. Additional images and print products are available for purchase.

Do I get to choose the location?

Mini sessions are scheduled at pre-selected locations (usually local parks, seasonal pop-ups, or my studio in Imlay City, MI). I choose spots that photograph beautifully and fit the theme!

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. My editing process typically takes 1-3 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations. Upon delivery of your images, you can select your included images and choose any extras you'd like to purchase.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
How do I book a mini session?

Mini sessions are announced on social media and are available on my booking page upon announcement. Be sure to grab your spot quickly—these limited sessions fill fast.

What should we wear?

Once you book, we can discuss outfits that coordinate and that will work well with our session together. I curated an Amazon list for each session type for an easy way to see which styles look great togethr! For those links, just reach out! I also offer client wardrobe options for some themed sessions!

May I bring grandparents, pets, or extended family?

Mini sessions are designed for small groups (usually up to 5 people). If you’d like to include more family members, just reach out! I may be able to recommend a full session instead to give you enough time.

Will there be proprs or a backdrop?

Yes! Many holiday and themed minis include simple, stylish setups or props. Each session listing will note what's included, so you know exactly what to expect
