Your Love, My Focus

Michigan Wedding Photographer

Your wedding day deserves to be captured with care, creativity, and heart — whether you're saying "I do" with 200 guests or 2 witnesses. At LikeWise Photo and Designs, I specialize in capturing the real, raw moments — the laughter, the tears, the quiet in-between.

I take on only a limited number of weddings and elopements each year to ensure each couple receives the personalized experience they deserve.

Alicia & Collin — Tahquamenon Falls, Michigan

Hidden among the sound of rushing water and golden light filtering through the trees, Alicia and Collin promised forever in a place that already held a piece of their hearts. Their elopement was quiet and meaningful, surrounded only by a few loved ones and the beauty of the Upper Peninsula. It felt less like a ceremony and more like a moment suspended in time.

I believe the most powerful stories are told in stillness — in the way two people look at each other when no one else is watching. Traveling to Tahquamenon Falls to capture their love reminded me why I do what I do. It’s about creating art from emotion, and preserving the feeling of being deeply known and completely free.

Liz & Seth — South Haven, Michigan

Nestled along the shores of Lake Michigan, Liz and Seth’s South Haven elopement was everything an intimate celebration should be — heartfelt, simple, and full of meaning. Just the sound of the waves, their closest loved ones, and a love that felt bigger than the horizon.

I traveled to capture their day because moments like this deserve to be remembered exactly as they felt — real, effortless, and beautiful in their simplicity. My approach is about more than just photos; it’s about telling your story in a way that feels deeply you, no matter where your adventure takes us.

Mr. & Mrs. Garza | Celebrating Love in the Motor City

This stunning Detroit wedding shoot began at the iconic Fisher Theatre, a renowned architectural gem in the heart of the city. Built in 1928, the Fisher Theatre boasts a captivating Art Deco design and has hosted countless legendary performers. From there, we embarked on a romantic stroll through the vibrant streets of downtown Detroit, capturing the couple's love amidst the city's unique blend of historic charm and modern energy. As the snow began to fall, creating a magical winter wonderland, we captured the essence of their special day - a perfect blend of urban sophistication and timeless romance.

Dean & Emma | An Elopement Story

A modern take on intimacy and elegance. Dean and Emma embodied the kind of effortless connection that makes quiet moments unforgettable. Set against minimal details and soft light, their story celebrates the beauty of stripping away the excess to focus on what truly matters: two people, deeply in love.

This is the heart of what I aim to capture—elopements that are intentional, artful, and unapologetically personal.

Testimonial

When working with a photographer whether it’s for a maternity shoot, your wedding day, engagement pictures, family pictures, you’re trusting them with moments that you can’t get back again. This is something Gabby understands and is very passionate about. Her work speaks for itself and through it you can see the love she has for what she does!

If you’re someone who has a specific vision and knows exactly what you want, she will go out of her way to capture it for you. Or if you’re someone who hasn’t posed in front of a camera and isn’t sure of what to do, she will make you feel so comfortable and is full of creative ideas to guide the way.

I am so glad I trusted Gabby to capture one of the biggest moments in my life, my wedding pictures, and I can’t wait to work with her in the future on family photos. These are the precious life moments you’ll want to look back on when you’re older, and finding the right photographer is everything!"

"Gabby not only did our engagement photos but ran away with us 2 months later to elope in the UP! She was extremely helpful with any questions we had, and helped us feel so comfortable in all our pictures so they came out very “us”. 100/10 recommend!!"

Our wedding was planned with less than a week’s notice. (No I’m not pregnant and it’s a long story) We had an amazing experience with a professional atmosphere during one of the most chaotic periods of our lives. We will cherish our photos forever and cannot thank LikeWise Photography enough."
